Courtney DeTrinidad
Distance Coach
Courtney DeTrinidad is a lifelong runner and passionate coach dedicated to helping young athletes reach their highest potential through encouragement, consistency, and hard work. A mother of four, running plays a central role in her family life. Two of her children compete with Edmond Thunder XC and Track Club, and one runs for Edmond Memorial, giving her firsthand experience in both youth and competitive running environments.
With 18 years in education, Courtney values growth, discipline, and resilience. She strives to create a positive, challenging atmosphere where athletes build confidence through effort and perseverance.
Lindsey Long
Sprint Coach
Lindsey Long serves as the Sprints Coach and brings a lifelong connection to track and field. She grew up in a family of track athletes and competed in track throughout high school, building a strong foundation in sprint training and technique. Lindsey is also a proud mom of two sons who compete with Edmond Thunder XC and Track Club and have been running competitively since 2021.
In addition to coaching, Lindsey actively trains through strength training and jiu jitsu, emphasizing speed, power, and overall athletic development. She is passionate about helping athletes build confidence, discipline, and a strong work ethic both on and off the track.
Tosha Strawn
Field Events/Sprints Coach
Tosha Strawn serves as our Field Events Coach, bringing both coaching expertise and a deep personal connection to the sport of track and field. She is a dedicated parent of three children, two of whom compete with the Edmond Thunder XC and Track Club in sprints, shot put, and long jump.
In addition to her work with our club, Tosha is the Head Coach at Cheyenne Middle School, where she is known for developing strong fundamentals, confidence, and a love for competition in young athletes. Her passion for field events and youth development makes her an invaluable part of our coaching staff.
